Kena: Bridge of Spirits is an action-adventure game that tells the story of a spirit guide on a quest for the sacred Mountain Temple.
GAMEPLAY / VISUAL
Take a deep breath, because Kena is one of the most stunning games I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. It feels like watching a Disney 3D animation from the early 2000s. The attention to visual detail is extraordinary, whether in the lush vegetation, meticulously crafted environments, or the character animations. The cutscenes and animations, in particular, are breathtaking; if you haven't played Kena yet, prepare yourself for a visually impactful experience like no other. As Kena, our mission is to free spirits and cleanse areas corrupted by malevolent forces. The combat is engaging, becoming even more satisfying as we unlock new abilities. However, the game does falter in some basic aspects, such as the targeting system, which could be more precise. Exploration is enjoyable, but the puzzles, while present, are fairly simple and don’t require much thought.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Kena's achievements are generally satisfying, but there's a frustrating aspect: the game has several missable achievements. In a title with a linear narrative, this is hard to accept, as failing to save manually at certain points can lead to missing out on combat-related achievements.

CONCLUSÃO
Kena: Bridge of Spirits is solid enough to potentially spawn a franchise. Over the years, many games have explored the spiritual world, but Kena stands out as one of the best. The protagonist's journey is compelling, and the game shines in many aspects, especially in its animations and graphics. What Kena lacks is more refined combat; some mechanics could be improved. Despite this, Kena is an excellent experience from start to finish, both for those interested in the theme and for those simply looking to enjoy a good single-player game.
