Review: Fling To The Finish

Gather your friends, run close to each other and try not to cause trouble in Fling To The Finish.

THE GAME

Fling To The Finish is a cooperative racing game developed by SplitSide Games and distributed by Daedalic Entertainment. Two little balls connected by a rope, running to the finish line. That's the definition of this fun game. With different scenarios, your objective is to reach the end of the map facing obstacles while coordinating your movements. Additionally, there are several game modes, such as collecting coins across the map or racing against time. Whether alone or with friends, have fun in this exciting crazy race.

MY IMPRESSIONS

I'm addicted to cooperative games with crazy ideas. And Fling To The Finish provides just that. With simple and chaotic gameplay, you'll have a lot of fun while trying to get through the crazy scenarios that are presented. Additional game modes add extra spice, giving interesting variations to the style of play, as well as challenging the player. Although it can be played alone, Fling To The Finish loses a lot of the fun if it is not played with more than two players. The funny part is the chaos generated by people when playing, so I don't see much point in playing alone. The game is in Portuguese-Brazil, which helps to understand the types of game modes.

Even with all the fun and variety of scenarios, it's a game that wears out quickly. It will be that from start to finish, with almost no variation in difficulty in its base mode. However, this is nothing different from what we expect from a casual game. If you keep this in mind, you will always have this game as an option to call friends and have a good laugh.

ACHIEVEMENTS

The achievements are not many, but they are the most varied. Whether it's unlocking collectibles, breaking time records or getting the maximum rating on some maps, you'll have big challenges to get 100% of the achievements, but nothing that a few good attempts can't solve.

CONCLUSION

A simple and fun idea is what we find in Fling To The Finish. For those who don't have friends to play with, it may not be the most exciting game, but if you do, it's guaranteed fun. It's a great casual game that, even in its simplicity, finds ways to reach everyone, having more difficult and challenging modes or simply making a general mess. Highly recommended for large groups of friends.
